PLC – Stavanger (Norway)
Leadership Challenge in Stavanger
Together with our partner the University of Stavanger, the Public Leadership Foundation (PLF) is organising the first international Public Leadership Challenge (PLC). On the 30th of October, students, professionals and academics will gather in Stavanger, to focus on the question: ‘Which MAD leadership must be displayed for health care services into the future?’. In the context of a decentralisation process in Norwegian health care, the building of a new academic hospital and the possibilities offered by new welfare technologies, the stakeholders will present their main challenges and receive advice on the leadership that is needed to make health care work on a local level.
Public Leadership Challenge
The PLF is psyched to spread the concept of the PLC, for it is a wonderful way to enable MAD leadership of both stakeholders and participants. With the PLC, we focus on current challenges facing society today. The purpose is to find creative, but concrete ways to address these challenges through EPIC leadership: Energy, Purpose, Identity and Courage. At the event, participants are challenged to think outside the box and take responsibility to show Make A Difference. With their MAD leadership, they inspire decision making stakeholders to address the challenge at hand from new perspectives.
Updates on the Public Leadership Challenge in Stavanger will be posted on the PLF website. Do you want to learn more about the PLC concept? Find your information here and feel free to contact us at email@example.com
