During the Jonge Ambtenaren Dag (Young Civil Servant’s Day) the PLF hosted a Public Leadership Challenge (PLC) on public leadership and digital inclusion. Stakeholders and participants worked on the question: ‘What public leadership is needed by ING and Valid to make sure everybode can make use of public services?’

In a pitch, ING and Valid explained their challenges. Young civil servants discussed these challenges and gave advice to the stakeholders. ING was advised to appoint an independent confidential adviser, as well as to merge service points and bank offices. Valid was advised to organize a meeting to present all ICT possibilities for the government, as well as to organize customer trips and field labs. Both participants and stakeholders were enthusiastic about the PLC!
